The sustainability of nations in terms of environmental, social and economic health must be a priority for all nations and individuals.  This pursuit is a moral imperative and is a form of enlightened self interest.  We now know that the greatest security risks are from failing states and that states most often fail due to environmental (i.e., natural resources), economic and social causes.   Also, national economies are increasing critically coupled as a consequence of globalization - that's the enlighted self interest part.  If we can focus on both our own success and the success of others, we can achieve a higher level of global security, stability, peacefulness and prosperity.

PeaceWeapon.com was founded to contribute to the national and international dialogue on these issues and ultimately increase the effectiveness of this agenda.
